TERRASPLIT EXPANSIVE MORTAR
🔧 What You’ll Need:
● TerraSplit Expansive Mortar
● Clean water
● Bucket or mixing container
● Drill with appropriate bit (usually 1.5" diameter)
● Hammer drill or rotary hammer
● Measuring tape or ruler
● Personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, dust mask)

1. Drill the Holes
● Drill 1.5-inch (38 mm) diameter holes into the material you want to break.
● Depth: About 80–90% of the depth of the object.
● Spacing: 6–12 inches apart for concrete; 10–14 inches for rock.
● Pattern: Grid or line pattern depending on the shape and size of the material.
Note: Make sure the holes are clean and dry inside.

2. Mix the TerraSplit
● In a plastic bucket, mix TerraSplit with clean water.
● Mixing ratio: 5 kg TerraSplit per 1.5 liters of water.
● Slowly add powder into water (not the other way around).
● Stir thoroughly for 2–3 minutes until you get a slurry without lumps.
CAUTION: The slurry may get hot—don’t touch it directly.

3. Pour into Holes
● Immediately pour the mixed slurry into the holes.
● Do not overfill — leave a bit of space at the top.
● Do not plug the holes unless specifically instructed.
Note: Covering with a big sheet is allowed to prevent blow-ups

4. Wait for Cracking
● Cracks usually begin to appear in 2 to 8 hours, full cracking in 24 to 48 hours.
● Weather and rock type may affect timing.

5. Clean Up
● Once material is cracked, remove broken pieces with minimal effort (often prying or lifting
is enough).
● Dispose of debris according to local regulations.

⚠️ Safety Tips
● Wear PPE: gloves, goggles, and a dust mask when mixing.
● Do not look directly into the holes after pouring — TerraSplit can expand forcefully.
● Keep children and pets away.
● Never use metal containers for mixing.
