hi! can you pls tell me my chemical pool rqmnts for a 10m x 20m x 1.5m (ave height) pool. i will be using a sand silica based filter.

By our computation, you have a swimming pool with 300,000 liters.
You need to use:
860 grams of calcium hypochlorite (chlorine granules) to have a 2ppm suggested dosage of chlorine in your pool
- This is if there is no chlorine in your pool in the first place; it is always best to use a test kit.

If you use Pool Algaecide Copper Sulfate:
you need 90 grams for your pool, pool algaecide copper sulfate does not evaporate like chlorine, you only need to add more if water is being added.

If you use Algimycin 600:
you need 23 ounces or 700mL for your pool.

In your honest opinion, can u suggest an ideal chemical requirements that I can best use in my pool.? For additional info, I am using a deep well pump for the water rqmnt of my pool...
